Whilst the first team squad seek to play out there final trio of Premier League games before embarking on a European Final, spare a few thoughts for a forgotten man.

With the Europa League Final on everyone`s minds, Andrew Johnson continues along the long road to recovery after missing the back end of the season with a serious knee injury.

Johnson, who is hoping to be fit in time for the new season in August, has reportedly made a secret trip to see the world renowned knee surgeon, Richard Steadman, to seek assurances about the state of his knee before stepping up training.

  • Hopefully he’ll be back fit for next season and we’ll have more European football for him 🙂

  • that would be fantastic… if he can come back and round into form with bobby firing on all cylinders, we would be a treat to watch…

  • he’ll provide more options and with another potentially hectic season ahead, a bit of rotation will be useful
