Yesterday the buzz was that Fulham were looking at replacing the Arsenal bound Mark Schwarzer with David James.
Many of you agreed with me that it was something of a stop gap appointment with James fast approaching the end of his career.
Today, the tabloid press and one especially, have Fulham focussing on another keeper.
This time it`s the man James recently ousted from the England side, West Ham`s Robert Green.
Green has one year left on his contract and has indicated to the East London club that he`d be moving on.
At thirty years of age Green would have, at least, five years good service to give his next club.
As for a price, nothing has been mentioned but if we`re getting £3.5 million for Schwarzer I reckon sticking another £2 million on top would see Fulham get the better end of the deal!
