Fulham travel to the JJB Stadium looking to take those vital three points that are on offer, three points that will edge us closer to that mythical 40 points total that managers regard as essential for top flight survival.

It seems strange talking about survival when we`re sitting so high in the table but as many a manager has said this season, the table shows that anyone from ninth downwards could become involved in a relegation struggle.

But if we are going to emerge victorious then, on Saturday, we`re going to have to overcome some statistics that make pretty bad reading.

Fulham have never won at the JJB Stadium, every journey there, a distance of some 212 miles, has proven to be fruitless with regards to taking all three points.

Our last two visits have both ended in draws and we have to go back to 1st September 1992 for our last victory at Wigan when we emerged victors by three goals to one.

Perhaps matters are influenced by our appalling away record, a record that has seen us register only a pathetic wins in 144 Premier League fixtures.

Am I the only one, or will you join me in hoping that this Saturday our fortune changes on the road?
