The relative uncertainty about the long term future of Mark Schwarzer, at Craven Cottage, continues to intrigue the rumour mongers.
Schwarzer, whose bitter disappointment at seeing a move to Arsenal stall, in the recent transfer window, and who has, reportedly, decided to seek pastures new when his contract expires next summer, continues to give the club cause for concern with regards to goalkeeping cover.
Today the name of the Crystal Palace keeper, Julian Speroni, rears its head again in the gossip columns with it being suggested that he`ll be arriving at Craven Cottage, shortly, in a cut price deal.
It, as usual, remains to be seen whether there is any truth in this rumour but the skeptics might say there`s no smoke without fire!
