Although the 2016 / 2017 season is still some way off, preparations are, it would seem, in hand to strengthen the squad for next season.

Reports in the Turkish media vehicle Fanatik suggest that Fulham are rivalling West Ham United and another Turkish side, for the signature of the Buraspor defender Serdar Aziz.

Talking to the reference source, the Turkish club president, Ali Ay, is quoted as having remarked,

“We have two serious offers one from Fulham and the other from Besiktas, we are considering both bids.”

Aziz is 24-years-of-age and has, unfortunately, missed out on selection for the 23-man Turkish squad destined for the Euro 2016 Finals, in France, due to an injury.

Fulham`s target has two years left on his current contract and Buraspor are the only team he has played for, having risen through the ranks.

We`ll endeavour to keep you informed of any developments.
