This Bank Holiday weekend we`ve already touched on the subject of our success having a negative effect.
The possibility of (Sir) Roy Hodgson being tempted by an offer from a ‘bigger` club is, now, always going to be a worry.
Thankfully, for the time being, Roy seems happy with life at Craven Cottage and has reiterated to the media that he is under contract, commenting,
“I know nothing at all about my name being linked with any jobs. All I know is I`m happy here at Fulham and I have a contract here.”
“If my name is sufficiently strong to be inked with other jobs that`s very flattering. But I`m trying to keep my feet on the ground because I know that the better you do the higher the barrier is raised and that makes it harder in the long run.”
Besides, who`d want to go to Liverpool?
