Fulham – Hughes View on Red Card!

It`s never good to see a red card brandished, especially when it comes so close to the end of a game.

And also when the actual tackle deemed to be worthy of the red card, issued by Martin Atkinson, brings such different views from the two managers.

Whilst Carlo Ancelotti defended, quite vigorously, his man, Mark Hughes ensured nobody had any doubts about the seriousness of the tackle, remarking in his post match interview,

“The guy has jumped in with two feet, so that is a straight red. He has to go, that`s my view on it.”

And that`s, we`re sad to say, is our view on the matter as well, especially as reckless tackling has already cost us dearly this season with regards to injuries!
