Fulham – Hughes Jackson Views

It may be something us supporters feel uncomfortable with, this blessed statue of Michael Jackson, but when the person paying for it is your boss you have to take a diplomatic approach.

When broached on the subject Mark Hughes showed that being a diplomat is another of his many talents when he simply remarked,

“The chairman Mohamed Al Fayed has fully supported this club for a long time now and put in something like £200 million.”

“If he wants to make that gesture to someone he knew personally, then we should respect that.”

True, we should respect it but we don`t have to like it, do we?
