Fulham Hoping To Emulate Newcastle, Brighton and Huddersfield

|

There’s a theory that does the rounds suggesting that getting into the Premier League is the easy part of the job, staying in the Premier League is the hard part.

On so many occasions, teams that get into the Premier League get relegated the next season.

Last year that trend was bucked when all the three promoted sides, from the 2016 / 2017 Championship season, Newcastle United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Huddersfield Town, retained their Premier League status.

It is a feat the Craven Cottage support are hoping their club can match.

But, having gotten back into the Premier League, after being relegated in May 2014, the support is eagerly awaiting the release of the fixtures which are scheduled to be published on 14 June.

Who’ll Fulham will get in their season opener remains to be seen.

Would it be preferable to open the season against one of the big-six or would you prefer an easier start?

Please feel free to offer your opinion as to who you suspect Fulham will get in that first game, in the comments facility beneath this article.

But, it’s great to see that the club is already preparing for life in the top-flight with the following tweet:

Onwards and upwards.
