Fulham – Hodgson`s Woes!

With last season being something of an extraordinary season when it came to injuries with Roy Hodgson being able to field, on many an occasion, the same side as he`d fielded the previous game, this season has been in stark contrast.

Player after player seems to be picking up a niggle and when you combine that with the suspensions we have ahead of the home fixture with CSKA Sofia, you can see why Roy Hodgson is an anxious man when he remarks on hearing that Andrew Johnson has had an operation on his shoulder,

“Kamara is out for another couple of weeks after his operation. There is some hope Zamora will be fit for Thursday and the same with Dickson Etuhu. The injury isn`t as bad as first thought.”

“Danny Murphy has a chance to get back in on Thursday. But Eddie Johnson can`t take part because he`s not on the list, Erik Nevland, Jonathan Greening and Paul Konchesky can`t take part because they`re suspended. I`ll get my boots out.”

Could Roy defy those advancing years and cut the mustard?
