It`s become noticeable in recent weeks that Erik Nevland seems to be occupying a role whereby he`s named as a substitute but inevitably comes on with approximately a quarter of an hour to go.
The Norwegian, who hasn`t quite made a first team place his since arriving at Craven Cottage, has always proven to be a willing runner and here, at Vital Fulham, we`ve never doubted his enthusiasm.
In fact, the Norwegian has also received some plaudits from Roy Hodgson with Roy quoting,
“He`s a nasty player to play against because he competes. Even though the guy against him looks bigger and stronger, he`ll be there trying to get his head to the ball.”
If he`s that nasty Roy, set him loose on Leon!
