As Fulham look to reshape their squad for next season, one man who will not form part of it is the on-loan Derby player, Giles Barnes.
Barnes, who joined Fulham keen to get his career back on track, has not featured in the Fulham first team and it would appear his career has further stalled due to injury.
Speaking about the situation Roy Hodgson has remarked,
“Giles has unfortunately been injured and we haven`t had the chance to assess him as we would like.”
“We would not be prepared to pay the amount of money that we would be required to pay at the end of the loan to acquire his services.”
A prudent decision we`d say!
