The fixture today will see Brede Hangeland on the same pitch as one of his fellow Norwegian internationals, Morten Gamst Pedersen.
Now, all summer long, we`ve been fearful of a ‘bigger` club coming in for Brede but, thankfully, it didn`t happen.
Although, if we were looking for words of encouragement perhaps we should advise you not to read the quotes that Morten has had published in the media this morning, quotes that infer Brede will, one day be gone,

“He will get a bigger club.”
“He is a professional and if he continues performing like he has been doing, it is hard to se him not being hunted down with a big club.”
“There has been loads of speculation already. I don`t know what the facts are but you get that speculation because he is a good player. There was talk about whether he would go with Roy Hodgson to Liverpool.”
“It is only a matter of time before clubs will buy him.”
“But he is happy at Fulham and isn`t the sort of guy who would try to run away.”
