Fulham – Hangeland on Fortune Change

With Manchester City having stolen our UEFA Cup place, yes I am still jealous, we can only but look ahead to the clash with Newcastle this Sunday.

After the ‘Geordie Army` secured a fine 2-0 win over Aston Villa, last night, our status at the bottom end of the table looks a little more perilous.

Our lack of goals is one thing we need to correct, eight in ten games isn`t going to get us anywhere.

But, Brede Hangeland, who has had a fine start to the season, is convinced the tide will turn and in a recent interview remnarked,

“Obviously we have not scored enough goals this season.”

“But I would be more concerned if we were not creating any chances.”

“Even though we haven`t scored many, I think a lot of it is down to bad luck.”

“Everyone in the squad is confident that the goals will come if we continue to play as we are.”

Now wouldn`t it be nice to stick three, or even four past someone?
