For one player, transfer deadline day provided something of a surprise.
Julian Gray, languishing in the Championship with Coventry City, suddenly found himself on the way to Craven Cottage, on loan, to ply his trade in the Premier League.
Roy, earlier this week, has already spoken about Gray being almost ready for action if anybody lets complacency affect their performance.
Here at Vital Fulham we have a suspicion that Gray, certain to be named as a substitute on Saturday, would like nothing better than to be given a run-out on Saturday, thereby giving him almost the perfect 29th birthday present this coming Sunday!

29! It really is his last chance then!
In my opinion, I reckon he’s missed the boat!
lets give the lad a chance i reackon he will only be abit player anyway
I always liked Gray, think he’s half decent. Although I’d have preferred to see a bit more of Bouazza personally, and don’t get me started on the bizarre situation around Lee Cook 🙂
