Fulham Going Greek?

I know it`s probably not a politically correct statement but I`m a born and bred Londoner so I`ll say it anyway!

It`s taken me a fair few months just to get my lips around the name of Kagisho Dikgacoi and now if the rumours are correct, I`m about to be thrown another conundrum when it comes to the art of pronunciation.

According to several sources, Roy Hodgson is showing an interest in the Panathinaikos winger Dimitris Salpigidis.

Salpigidis, a twenty-eight year old Greek international, is a winger and is reportedly available for a fee of £1 million; he was also the guy who scored the goal that secured his nations place at the 2010 World Cup.

If we are keen and intend to press home our interest it`s suggested that we face opposition from Birmingham City and Stoke City!

No contest then, get practising that pronunciation then lads!
