I`m all for giving a man a chance, even a referee!
Apparently the referee on Wednesday evening, when we entertain Blackburn Rovers, is a certain Stuart Attwell.
Now Attwell is the geezer who gave that ghost goal at Vicarage Road last season prompting out-cry.
But, after the dodgy decisions we`ve witnessed from foreign referees in the Europa League this season, I`m not averse to giving the lad a chance.
In two previous games where he`s officiated when we`ve been involved (0-0 at Stoke this season and 2-1 at Manchester City in the Carling Cup) he did nothing to seriously offend me!
Let us all hope he has a good game!
