One man hoping to be given a run out this Saturday is our Iranian international, Andranik Teymourian.

Although he featured in several pre-season games, although to be honest there were enough of them for everyone to play, he hasn’t had much of a look-in in competitive fixtures so far, although thanks to internationals we’ve only played three.

As you are all probably aware, Teymourian joined us from Bolton Wanderers in the last transfer window after having made thirty appearances and scoring four goals for the Trotters.

Considering the frequency with which former players tend to score against former clubs, I can’t help thinking it could be a good move to bring him on from the bench to wrap things up in the second half.
