Although the fixtures for the 2009/2010 season are published tomorrow, we here at Vital Fulham are unable to publish them.

The company that controls their publication – DATACO – require an inhuman amount of cash for the Vital network to purchase a license for each site to be able to publish the aforementioned fixtures.

If we contravene the ruling regarding publication we leave ourselves wide open to legal action and the possibility of a huge fine.

Although it seems crazy, seeing as us, the supporters, are the very people that attend the fixtures the list contains, we have to abide by the rules as they stand.

Therefore whilst we can only apologise for items out of our control, we can only advise you to head off to the official site to view the fixtures tomorrow!

  • Working in my day job for a website with data suppilers I understand the effort gone to in creating the fixtures, so I wont be crying about this and if Vital won’t pay up their cant value it high enough and can’t be making enough money from advertising the content written by supporters.

  • Surely DATACO get their money from a contract with the premier league to create the fixtures, not through fansites printing the fixtures! Smells like cheap-arse double dipping to me. Pathetic!

  • Couldn’t it be got around by hinting at fixtures. Say we get chelsea on boxing day, couldn’t an article go like…we face the lot down the road on the day after jesus’ birthday! It’s only a suggestion…….

  • i don’t think it’s a big deal to go to the official website for this… it’s good to go there every once in a while…
