Fulham Fans Getting Restless As The Only Transfers Seem To Be Outwards

|

With a little over three weeks to go before Fulham travel to Barnsley in their opening Championship league match, there seems to be little news of incoming players needed to strengthen the squad. In contrast, there have been many players released or returned to their clubs following loan deals.

The other stories constantly in the media are getting rather boring. The seemingly imminent departure of Ryan Sessegnon, with Tottenham being the most mentioned in the running to acquire his services. They are well known for dragging their heals to get a deal done for the lowest price possible.

What makes matters worse for Fulham is their apparent interest in signing Ryan’s twin brother Steven. This would be a very bad move for the Cottagers, as Steven could possibly have a good chance of regular first team action in the Championship.

The other likely players that Fulham will lose before the start of the new season are; Seri, Elliott and Kamara back out on loan. Then there is Anguissa, who I believe could be an influence in our midfield.

So, should we not bring in any new recruits very soon, this could possibly be our first-team sheet against Barnsley on 3rd August;

Team: Bettinelli, Bryan, Mawson, Ream (or Odoi), Christie, Johansen, McDonald, Cairney, Anguissa (or S.Sessegnon), Mitrovic, Ayite

Subs: Rodak, Le Marchand, O’Riley, De La Torre, Cisse, Kebano, Fonte

Is this a strong enough squad to be title contenders? What do you think?
