After hanging on to Ryan Sessegnon, in the January transfer window, the 17-year-old has continued to show that he is an enormously talented youngster.
But, even if Fulham can regain their Premier League status at the end of this season it remains to be seen whether they can hang on to their prized asset.
Already, the media is awash with the suggestion that the player is the subject of interest from three big Premier league clubs, with the Sunday Mirror, reporting that Manchester City and Manchester United have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the chase to acquire Sessegnon.
Now we continually hear reports that Fulham have no financial need to sell Sessegnon, but we all know that a huge offer could prove too tempting to ignore.
But, if Fulham do get promoted, perhaps Sessegnon will be prepared to give us another season, knowing he will get regular first-team football, before deciding the time is ripe to seek his fortune elsewhere.
