This Saturday our side makes the long journey to the north-west to take on Blackpool, for those thinking of making the journey and taking in the sights the town has to offer, here are a few travelling tips.
If you are journeying by road – leave the M62 at Junction 32 and follow the M55 onto the outskirts of Blackpool. At the roundabout take the third turning on to the A583. Continue on this road as it merges into the A5073, down Waterloo Road. Heading towards Blackpool South station, look for a turning right on to the A5099 and the ground is situated down this road.
If you`re prepared to let the train take the strain, Blackpool South is the nearest station to the ground and is around a ten minute walk. Most trains, however, call at Blackpool North, but this is two miles away from Bloomfield Road.
And don`t forget the obligatory kiss-me-quick hat!
