Returning back to that marvellous day out at Wembley, last Saturday, it was interesting to listen to the reactions of the players who had realised our shared dream of regaining our Premier League status.

Interestingly, Ryan Fredericks described it as the best moment of his career so far, with a tweet made by our full-back reading,

But, according to one source, that moment could be the last that Fredericks experiences in a Fulham shirt.

Lurking in the pages of the news source, the Evening Standard, Fredericks could be, instead of signing a new contract at Craven Cottage, be making a move across London.

Our source is of the view our 25-year-old defender could become a West Ham United player.

Apparently, a four-year deal is on the table, a deal that would see Fredericks become the first signing of the Manuel Pellegrini managerial era.

Let’s hope it’s all newspaper guff, after securing promotion the last thing we want to see is our squad getting depleted.
