The KC Stadium beckons but rumours about possible transfers both in and out of Craven Cottage fail to die.
Today I’ve picked up a tabloid only to discover that Blackburn Rovers are keen to lure Paul Konchesky to Ewood Park.
Paul Ince, in danger of losing Steven Warnock, has targeted Konchesky as a possible replacement.
A fee of £2 million is mentioned by the tabloid but we have our doubts about a deal being done.
Konchesky is a valued member of our squad and a steady performer to boot, would Roy Hodgson sanction a sale this close to the start of the Premier League without already having a suitable replacement, we sincerely doubt it!
