After picking up Pedro Mendes from Portsmouth, Rangers manager, Walter Smith, finally looks like coughing up the remainder of the cash he received for his centre half from Aston Villa, on Steve Davis.
Although the Davis transfer hasn`t exactly rivalled that of the Ronaldo, Lampard, Berbatov or Barry on-off transfers, it has still proved to be a trifle irritating.
But before we all wish Steven all the best, after playing at Ibrox on loan last season, I think we`ll wait for the signature on the contract first.
