After fearing the worst that possibly both could be heading for the exit door, the tabloids contain some good news this morning.
Since August arrived we`ve feared that Brede Hangeland might be tempted to move to pastures new, to possibly sample life at a bigger club, a club that could give him Champions League football, we even feared that somebody could swoop to secure his services in the forthcoming January transfer window, well that doesn`t now appear to be on our radar.
It`s being reported that Brede is on the verge of signing a three and a half year deal that would tie him to Craven Cottage and pay him a salary of around £40,000 a week.
Also, the same article implies that the Hangeland deal forms part of a £9 million package that will also see Roy Hodgson put pen to paper on a deal as well.
Good news all round then we`d say!
