It`s interesting to read that prior to the disastrous loss to West Ham United today, Mark Hughes was quite prepared to discuss the subject of job loss!

Hughes, speaking to the red-top tabloids, remarked about the speculation surrounding his position, following our poor start to the season,

“This is nowhere near the level of speculation I faced at my previous job.”

“That was probably off the scale compared to what most people experience. I`ve got pressure but so what? You deal with it, work hard and turn things around. I have no fear. Why should I, or we as a club, have fear? I have confidence in my players` ability”

After today, I`d imagine that pressure might just have increased slightly!
