With more names being linked with a move away from Craven Cottage than a move to it, it`s refreshing to see the situation slowly being reversed.

In the tabloids this morning, if the reports are correct, it looks like we`ve been trying to entice the Liverpool defender, Sami Hyypia to Craven Cottage. Unfortunately, his wage demands seem to have wrecked nay chances of the Finnish international becoming part of the new Lawrie Sanchez era.

If the tabloids are right, it would appear that a wage demand of £30,000 a week is deemed to be too much. Some of us might ask, with reasonable justification, just how much our part-time loan player, Montella was on.

However, rather than be enticed into a salary discussion that could go nowhere, it would seem that Fulham have decided to focus their attention to north of the border. According to rumours, the next target is the Aberdeen centre-half, Russell Anderson.

You never know, one day all these rumours might actually lead to a signing being made!
