With the tabloids still implying that Brede Hangeland is bound for Arsenal, once the centre half transfer merry-go-round settles down, it`s come as no surprise to hear that a few names are being suggested as his possible replacement.
One name thrown up by the ‘Daily Grapevine` is the Middlesbrough centre back, Robert Huth.
A fee of £2 million is being suggested as the asking price as Middlesbrough, following relegation fro m the Premier League, seek to cut back their spending on salaries.
Off course, we all recognise that Huth joined Middlesbrough from that lot down the road. He`s also had a hard time with injuries since his move which we believe is reflected in the fee, a snip for a German international.
So what would bother you most?
The fact that he looks a pale imitation of the player he could be replacing?
The fact that he used to play for that lot down the road?
Or that he`s unlikely to replicate the relatively injury free season that Hughes and Hangeland had last year.
