I doubt whether the rumours will stop until that transfer window slams shut at the end of January.
Yet again, in the tabloids this morning, we`re treated to some quotes from Roy Hodgson as he tries to anticipate how things will work out during the window.
Roy has already spoken about how he wants t keep both Brede Hangeland and Jimmy Bullard but also how circumstances may affect that possibility this morning though his quote would seem to indicate that he`d be thoroughly happy if the whole sorry transfer window saga were to pass by without any transfer action at all taking place at Craven Cottage, see what you think,
“If we could keep this group of players together, and it wasn`t possible to do any business in the transfer market, I wouldn`t be too disheartened.”
“That`s because I think the squad I`ve got is good enough to achieve our goals.”
