It`d take a brave man to put his mortgage on Brede Hangeland being at Craven Cottage come the start of next season.
But, the giant Norwegian has given us the biggest hint so far that he may be staying. In the build up to the Newcastle game, Brede has commented,
“Some people have said ‘don’t go’ and I’ve told them I’m happy here.”
Brede possibly gave another hint when talking about the possibility (probability) of playing Europa League football next season, commenting,
‘The idea of the Europa League is all a bit new for us – and maybe there would be a bit of disappointment if we don’t get there. But, either way, we’ll look back on this season as a great one.”
We will but one final push could make it the most memorable for several a decade!
