Rumours are surfacing that Glasgow Rangers have turned dwon a Fulham bid for Daniel Cousin.

It`s though that Cousin is viewed by Roy Hodgson as someone who can help fire the goals to keep Fulham in the Premier League

However, despite the enticement of a reported bid of £2.5 million the Scottish giants seem keen to hang on to their acquisition.

With the Marlon King situation up in the air, it is thought that Hodgson may be tempted to increase his initial bid.

The Gabon international has done well in Scottish football and his performances have alerted clubs here in England and also on the continent. However Cousin has previously declared an intention to sample life in English football.

His appearances have been somewhat limited for Rangers this season but in fourteen games he`s notched an impressive eight goals. Such form has seen his signature become a coveted one
