Fulham – Bentley Wasn`t On The Radar!
As the clock approached six o`clock and the closure of the transfer window, Sky Sports threw in a right old red herring.
The satellite channel suggested that if Rafael van der Vaart agreed to a move to Spurs then David Bentley would be coming to Craven Cottage.
But, as the clock struck six, Sky Sports announced that a deal for Bentley had never been in Mark Hughes thoughts!
Shame really, he could have done a decent job for us couldn`t he?
