Fulham Beaten At Wembley By Spurs As Life In The Premier League Proves To Be Tough

Two games into the new Premier League season and the Fulham support do not have a lot to smile about.

After the opening fixture of the season saw Fulham lose at home to Crystal Palace, the second fixture has seen them beaten, at Wembley, by Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Fulham supporters can take heart from the fact that, for a period of the game, they were as good as Tottenham Hotspur.

But, for other periods they were second best, most notably in the first half when Tottenham could have scored more than the one goal they did, scored by Lucas Moura two minutes before half-time.

Fulham, having been outplayed during the first forty-five minutes, started to get their act together and equalised through Aleksandar Mitrovic.

However, they were to be beaten by a two-goal burst inside three minutes, the first of the brace coming from a Kieran Tripper free-kick and the second from Harry Kane.

Two games in and we have no points on the board, things can only get better!
