Sunday used to be fun! I used to stroll to the newsagents to pick up a selection of papers eager to see what the hacks had written about us. Now, it`s just a lethargic stroll!
The reason being, it doesn`t seem to matter which of the variety of papers you pick up, there always seems to be nothing relating to our club in them.
Instead it`s full of crap about that lot down the Fulham Road or the supposed giants of the North West, Liverpool and Manchester United.
At times I almost wish it was us that got relegated and not Sheffield United. At least that way we could all sit back and await Al Fayed to challenge the establishment again. And don`t we all know what a fine job he`d do.
Instead, I`m scrapping for the merest sign of ay potential transfer activity, scrutinising every last column inch trying to see if anyone is still interested in our fine club!
Today, I`ve failed miserably, prompting the question – Are we not newsworthy?
