The plethora of summer transfer signings made by Roy Hodgson seemed to have produced their first possible casualty.

Leon Andreasen, who was signed by Roy for £3 million last January, has been unable to make an impact this season.

Already the tabloids are casting shadows over his Fulham future by implying that if he’s not back in the starting eleven come January he’ll be looking to make a move.

It would seem that his favoured destination is a Martin Jol managed Hamburg.

Jol’s side sit proudly on top of the Bundesliga and rumours persist that a bid is being prepared to entice Leon to Germany in the January transfer window.

We’ll keep you informed of how this one develops.
