On the eve of our fixture, well almost, I`d like to stick two fingers up at West Ham and scream from the rooftops – stick that in your pipe Alf Garnett and smoke it.
When West Ham done the dastardly deed and reported us for fielding a weak team in the defeat to Hull City, I thought they were being a little more than cheeky, in fact I thought their plea stank of panic at the thought of realising they had to clutch at straws to stay in the Premier League.
Apparently, yesterday, David Gold spoke some kind words about their actions offering words of regret that they`d pursued a case when Gold actually admitted that he`d have done exactly the same if he was in our position.
Well today we`ve received the all-clear from the investigating authority who have commented,
‘The board is of the view that no breach of rules has occurred in this case.’
How about pursuing that lot then for wasting your time gents?
