After missing the trip to Hull due to a thigh strain, Fulham will be hoping that Andy Johnson is fit enough to make his Premier League debut, for Fulham, against Arsenal next weekend.
The striker is, according to reports, scheduled to return to full training on Monday with Roy Hodgson having this to say about matters, when interviewed by Sky Sports,
‘It was close this week. He started training on Tuesday. It was precautionary,’
‘These thigh strains are fairly minor injuries, but they can become major injuries if they do not heal up properly.
‘He will be fit at the start of next week to join us in training.’
