Fulham – A Role Model?

West Bromwich Albion arrive at Craven Cottage in a similar position to that we found ourselves in last season.

Indeed, on the eve of the game, Ton Mowbray is looking towards our great escape of last season to inspire hi sown side and in the run up to the game has remarked,

“Last year Fulham won some amazing games to stay up when they looked as if they were going down.”

“They have been in trouble at times this season yet have found some consistency and won some games that have catapulted them into the top 10.”

“The perception is that they are out of trouble and they probably are. I said to the players recently if you look back over the season we could have won another three games quite easily.”

“You look at the Wigan game and some of the home games at home like Everton, Portsmouth and Balckburn. If this bit of concentration had held or that referee`s decision had gone for us we could have been 10 points better off.”

“We`d be sitting where Fulham are. That is the fine margin. We are not out of our depth in this league.”

Looks like football can be such a cruel game!
