Fulham finally secured the permanent services of highly rated defender Liam Rosenior in November 2003 after protracted negotiations with Bristol City, and after the right-back had already played much of the first half of the 2003/04 season for Fulham`s Reserve side.

The ex-Robins player – and son of former Fulham striker Leroy Rosenior – has excelled in Fulham`s line up after making his Premiership debut at home to Manchester United in December 2004 and being nominated as man of the match in the 1-1 draw.

Liam also made his England Under 21 debut during the 2004/05 season. He scored his only goal to date against Lincoln City in the League Cup last season but his impressive attacking runs have created a number of goalscoring opportunities for Fulham`s front men.

Equally adept on the left or right, Rosenior repeatedly challenged Moritz Volz, Niclas Jensen and Wayne Bridge (before his defection) for their fullback berths throughout the campaign. Liam signed a new 4-year contract with Fulham this summer, securing his services until the summer of 2010.
