Fulham eased into the 5th round of the FA Cup with an emphatic victory over the Premier League side Hull City.

The Cottagers were by far the better side with Sone Aluko, who made 90 appearances for Hull being inspirational against his former club.

Fulham took the lead as early as the seventeenth minute when Aluko volleyed home. With the action switching from end to end, Ryan Sessegnon, on the overlap, thought he`d doubled the lead but the offside flag denied the youngster his goal

Aluko causing his old club more problems, weaved his way into the area, his pass found Martin but his cross was met firmly by Odoi but the Hull keeper, Eldin Jakupovic, parried the ball clear.

Leading 1-0 at half time, Fulham were pegged back four minutes into the second half when a cross from Andrew Robertson was headed home by Evandro.

But five minutes later, Fulham were back in the lead, when a move involving Aluko and Sessegnon provided Martin with the easiest of chances to score.

Fulham were looking by far the better team going forward and the lead was stretched to 3-1 when, with sixty-six minutes gone Piazon caused havoc before finding Martin and his ball in was slid hme by Sessegnon.

The Craven Cottage faithful knew their side were going to win this one and in the seventy-eighth minute the game was wrapped up when Cairney got in behind the defence and the ball fell kindly for Johansen to smash it into the net from the edge of the area.

Hull`s miserable afternoon was summed up perfectly when, in the space of a minute their striker Abel Hernandez missed not one but two penalties with Marcus Bettinelli excelling and saving on both occasions.

The draw for the 5th round will be made on Monday evening, who do you fancy fellow Cottagers?
