Any fears relating to Fulham not easing through to the third qualifying round of the Europa League were dispelled, last night, as Martin Jol presided over a comfortable 4-0 victory.

The 4-0 romp meant that Fulham took the tie 7-1 on aggregate.

The goals, last night came courtesy of Andrew Johnson (19 mins), Damien Duff (56 mins), Bobby Zamora (66 mins) and Steve Sidwell (70 mins).

Speaking about the emphatic win, Martin Jol had this to say

“I`m not sure if a game like this is more competitive than a friendly against Porto.”

“Of course this was an official game, so it`s competitive.”

“We started off well with good movement. There were a few sloppy spells we didn`t want.”

“But it`s good we scored a few goals. Bobby scored the best of the evening.”

“There was some tiredness at the end. This group has some old players which is why I`m trying to bring in some young blood.”

We`re not getting carried away (yet) but does anyone know when and where the Europa League Final will be played come May 2012?
