Fulham came back from the dead against Preston North End to snatch a share of the points.

At 2-0 down the game looked to have gotten away from the Cottages but that remarkable record of scoring late goals, at home, continued.

Fulham started the game badly and found themselves 2-0 down after just twenty-five minutes.

The defence was unable to cope when a cross from Sean Maguire found Jordan Hugill who made no mistake from close-range.

Matters were made worse minutes later when David Button, in the Fulham goal, was wrong-footed after a shot from Tom Barkhuizen took a deflection off Sean Maguire to make it 2-0.

However, a penalty, awarded after Rui Fonte was felled by Calum Woods, in the 74th minute, saw Oliver Norwood reduce the arrears.

With Fulham exerting the pressure, a point was snatched in the ninety-sixth minute when Chris Maxwell, who had kept out a fine effort by Norwood, dropped a long ball allowing Denis Odoi to become the hero of the hour and stab home the loose ball.

The point sees Fulham climb up to ninth in the Championship table, with the side two points off the play-off places.
