Those at Craven Cottage witnessed our 100% home record end at the hands of the current Premier League champions.

In a hard fought encounter, despite taking an early lead, you kind of knew that City would take the victory.

With a full house once again inside the familiar ground, it was City that had the first shot when Toure saw a long range effort go wide. Ten minutes into the fray Fulham were awarded a penalty when Riise was upended by Zabaleta. Petric strode forward and beat Joe Hart with the spot kick.

The game had opened brightly and was an end to end affair with City coming close to equalising before they actually did. From a corner Aguero hit the side-netting, beforeTevez had a decent shout for a penalty, apparently for a tug by Riise, ignored by the referee.

But it was to be Aguero as half time approached, who did equalise for City, tapping in after an assist from Silva.

City looked the more likely side to score in the second half and Fulham supporters were relieved when Sidwell appeared to push Zabaleta in the area but despite some loud appeals from the City contingent, play was waved on.

Aguero, after slick passing from Silva and Zabaleta, saw his flick go just the wrong side of the post before Tevez, taunting our defence at times, forced Schwarzer into a decent save.

When Mancini took off Tevez we hoped there would be some respite but his replacement, Ballotelli, looked just as dangerous with a shot from thirty yards curling past the post.

But it was to be another City substitute, Edin Dzeko who was to get the winner when he saw the second of two attempts sail into the top corner.
