Fulham`s miserable record at Craven Cottage, this season, continued with a 1-1 draw against Derby County.

A season that promised so much is fast becoming a season fraught with worries that relegation is a more likely prospect as opposed to promotion.

Fulham started the half well and could have gone ahead through a Floyd Ayite header but Scott Carson in the Derby goal had other ideas, somehow pushing the goal-bound effort away.

The Cottagers did take the lead though when, from a free-kick, Oliver Norwood saw his shot take a deflection to beat Carson in the Derby goal.

Unfortunately, Fulham couldn`t capitalise on taking the lead and allowed Derby County to level in the second half when a pass from tom Lawrence saw Matej Vydra slot the ball past David Button in the Fulham goal.

With the game delicately balanced it looked as if Fulham were the more likely of the two sides to snatch a win.

Ayite had a glorious chance to win the game for Fulham but somehow contrived to shoot over the bar from inside the area.

With Derby County defending resolutely, the spoils were to be shared and the Fulham faithful had yet again, failed to see their side win at home in the Championship.
