Did anyone see that coming?

I certainly did not I expected Fuham to recover from the shock of the last gasp defeat at Villa Park, by getting back to winning ways at Craven Cottage.

Instead I was left to mull over a second defeat, on the trot, to a side that made us look very pedestrian, at times, and a side who are fast carving out a reputation as one of the best footballing sides in the Premier League.

They may lack any star names but Swansea don`t half know how to pass a football around effectively and strike when they need to.

Yesterday I could only admire as a player I`d never even heard of, Gylfi Sigurdsson, scored twice to give Swansea a hefty shove towards a third successive win on the bounce, to lift the Welsh club, in their first season in the Premier League, to a lofty eighth position.

By the time Joe Allen scored a third, I was already thinking of heading off to the pub for a swift gallon of amber nectar, in the hope of getting over this latest defeat.

But meandering through the roads of West London and then bursting into the local, the dreadful news of what was happening, not that far up the road, at White Hart Lane, hit me.

It sort of put into perspective life, did it not!
