After the bold 0-0 draw at the Emirates on Saturday, Fulham got a quick chance to gather another three home points this evening in a Premier League fixture against Hull.

Unfortunately that was not to be the case as Hull snatched an injury time winner to make light of our fortress of a home ground.

Roy Hodgson sprang no surprises with his team selection. John Pantsil returned after serving his suspension for five yellow cards whilst the returning Diomansy Kamara had to be content with a place on the bench.

Hull had the first shot on target when Geovanni hit a shot on target after Etuhu had conceded a free kick. Fulham`s first shot on goal saw an effort from Bobby Zamora go wide.

As we approached the midway point in the first half Fulham were getting on top with Zamora and Davies both having shots on target forcing Duke into making saves.

Johnson then headed a chance wide as Fulham searched for the elusive opening goal. Dempsey then saw a shot blocked by Kilbane. Fulham were then put under pressure when a Geovanni shot produced a corner that Schwarzer claimed.

Etuhu then drove a shot wide as half time loomed on the horizon. Dempsey saw another shot blocked and Duke once again became a prominent figure in the action ensuring Hull kept it at 0-0!

Three minutes before half time Simon Davies fired over the bar as he hit his shot into the ground and it bounced agonisingly over and it was looking as if it would be 0-0 at the break. And that`s the way it turned out.

The second half started with Johnson having a shot saved by Duke as Fulham pushed forward. Hull, pushing forward, saw Ashbee fire over. Fulham tried to force the issue and Dempsey, Johnson and Konchesky were both denied.

Cousin, for the visitors then fired over from inside the box Dempsey repeated the feat for Fulham as we all waited, anxiously, for that opening goal. The Hull substitute, brought on with fifteen minutes left, then fired just wide of the target.

Hangeland received a yellow card before Ashbee forced Schwarzer into a save with a decent shot. As we entered the last ten minutes Etuhu also picked up a yellow card. Geovanni drilled a shot wide. Dempsey saw another effort saved by Duke and it looked like it would end 0-0.

But fare can play a cruel hand and deep into injury time, as the crowd started to drift away bemoaning the fat there`d been no goals, the Hull substitute Manucho, on loan from Manchester United, stabbed one home.

It felt like a dagger through the heart.
