|

With the exciting challenge of Premier League football to look forward to in the coming months, Fulham Football Club have made an addition to the first team coaching staff.

Scott Parker, who joined Fulham from Tottenham Hotspur, back in 2013, and who went on to make 128 appearances for the Cottagers, has been appointed as the Fulham first-team coach, something confirmed by the Evening Standard.

By a strange quirk of fate, Scott returns to Fulham from Tottenham Hotspur for a second time, with the 37-year-old having been in charge of the Tottenham U18 side last season.

The former midfielder, who completed his UEFA coaching badges whilst at Fulham and it’s great to see him back in the fold.

Parker has a wealth of football experience and is one of a select band of players who have played for five different London clubs, Charlton Athletic, Chelsea, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham.

His appointment is one we here at Vital Fulham thoroughly approve of we’ve no doubt that his wealth of knowledge will assist us in our initial quest, this coming season, to retain our Premier League status.
