The fact that our young midfielder, Kasami, was, apparently, fined for missing that penalty against Chelsea, continues to fill column inches.
The latest development seems to be that the PFA are going to get involved with one of their supposed bigwigs, Bobby Barnes, wanting to chat to our representative, Brede Hangeland.
Barnes, talking about the subject to the media remarked,
“I will bring it up with Brede. I`ve never heard of anything like this before and it could set a dangerous precedent.”
“Managers issue instructions before games but players will make decisions during a match.”
“What if a player is supposed to stand in the wall at a free kick and then ducks out of the way of the ball?”
“If the opposition score would he be punished too?”
