The latest Barclays Premier League Fair Play tables have been released and Fulham and Portsmouth fans are battling for top spot, with the Pompey supporters just edging ahead of the Fulham faithful.

The ratings are based on the following criteria; verbal support in acceptable form and covert recognition of outstanding play by opponents.

Points are deducted for persistent foul abusive language, persistent abuse of Officials’ decisions and aggressive threatening conduct towards opposing fans.

  • I accept that we at Pompey do generate a lot of noise/atmosphere but we do give the officals a lot of abuse. We tend to get some muppets at home how havn’t a clue.

  • but our abuse is all in a light harted manner… the whole stadium singing “graham poll, your a @~%$£ areshole” is very different to aveing individuals shouting abuse. trust me, i know from experiance 😉

  • Merlin, I’m suggesting you lot are drunken fools. 🙂 I think one of the only ‘foul-languaged’ song we sing is this: (For you, Merlin) ‘**** off Chelsea FC, You ain’t got no history, 5 European Cups and 18 League, Now that’s what we call history!’
